Hi Spideress..
I too feel uncomfortable when Pink kisses me on the lips. I think its because I work with children and have had safeguarding drummed into me, left right and centre. I always kiss on her head or cheek, but always say , I love you. It isn't hard with Pink she is very cuddly!
Re the Daddy thing. Pink was very much like Incy with DH when she first came home. The only "father figure" she had was her fc. He was lovely, but for obvious reasons he had to keep his distance. So Pink didn't know how to deal with a Daddy as she has never had one. :-(
It has taken a lot of time and patience for dh. But he has got there. This morning, when he went to work, Pink just grabbed him and gave him the biggest hug. It was so lovely to see, especially after seeing Dh in tears about it in the past. Give it time. I know its very early days for you guys but, I'm more than happy to pm you some exercises a play therapist that I know through work has shown me. They are very simple and are good fun.
Hang on in there, you sound like a very caring Mum.

From the start our girls were covered in cold sores bless them, so kissing on the lips wasn't a good idea, but we did do lots of hugs and kissing on the cheek and still do that today now in their 20's . With GD we kiss on the cheek and occasionally on the lips, and of course a hug, but personally I am still not too comfortable with kissing lips of children.
