Got to give Spud credit for problem solving- since learning to use the loo he's loved feeling grown up and the thing about using the step to get on and off the loo are def part of the attraction.
Well yesterday we were upstairs, I was trying to get dressed for the day (always a challenge) and Spud announced he needed the loo, I went to go with him but he said 'do it my own' so I said fine. Quick glance around the bathroom, decided it best to put the litre plastic hair wash jug up high so he wasn't tempted... hmmm.
At that point Potato stubbed her toe and went into hysterical crying, me still in PJ's went to comfort her. At this point I hear the words- 'really heavy, careful Spud' and think **it and quickly stop hugging a crying DD to go see... I then see him carrying a full to the brim litre jug towards me beaming. Now if I hadn't of actually lost my voice I would of screeched and the water would of gone flying but as no sound managed to leave me it didn't- I just took the jug from him with a slightly manic look on my face!!
Give him his due he had switched the tap off, closed the loo and worked out that if he moves the step near the bathroom shelf he can reach things from their- including the jug....
There really is never a dull moment with Spud around!!!
Ha ha!!!!!

Wasn't expecting that!!!
I'm with everyone else.... Didn't expect tap water.... was expecting some water that had been through the bodily function system first!!!
Watch that boy obviously a budding climber!! Don't know where you might find him next!!!

And to think I was just glad that my lack of voice meant I didn't shriek and make him spill the water...!!!
Let's just say if he ever decides to use the jug as a potty it's going straight in the recycling :-)

give it time - he will soon be a member of the ARF - then you will be suspicious about any fluids

Oh dear!!! Well as Spud has learnt to flush the toilet we are going to get one big water bill. Ah well... all he needs for xmas is more waterproof trousers, a tap and a toilet to flush on someone else's water bill!!!! :-)
