...in an email to the rubbish school this morning at end of request for responses to emails I sent before half term. I'm just ignored, patronised or they blame IT issues and have done so for the last year. Amazingly I have had all information I asked for in three emails from three different people in the same day!
I have asked for the complaints procedure as I cannot moan to ofsted until I've exhausted the school's internal complaints procedure first. That won't take long as they don't have a board of Governors so I shall just keep pushing.
Also need to complain about the LEA but think that may be more complicated! Has anyone done it in relation to anything other than wanting to have a statement issued or the school changed on it? Those are not our issues.

Hope you get it sorted.... Sounds odd a school not having a board of governors....
Hope the wise ones are along soon.....

I didn't realize schools without governors existed!
If the school has a business manager or HR manager, they will probably be the person to speak to, it certainly is in our school. I know you are past the LAC stage, but it might be worth a phone call to the virtual head in your LA for some advice?

Thanks yes I was non plussed when they stated they have no governors, its a school and care homes owned by private company which are pretty useless with admin, money matters and sending in reports in time to the LEA. I'm probably the first parent to formally complain as the other children are from out of county or are shipped in from less than desirable places. The impact upon my son has been horrendous. He is a LAC K-star on section 20 and this school is failing him terribly.
When the complaints procedure arrives I shall update post and see what and where I have to complain to.. Prob a PO box in South America knowing this dodgy lot!

Goodness it all sounds horrendous :-( virtual head might be a good place to start then, ours has been really friendly and heful even though Starlet has settled well in a very supportive school and we haven't really needed them.
I really hope you get it sorted :-(

Oysterbabe, as the school is run by a private group, you could maybe research their directors via companies house then plague them? Might be worth rattling their cage to get a response. As your son is LAC, then Ed Psych from your LA should have something to say about the provision? Do you have an alternative lined up for your son? x

Update - I sent the complaint last Wednesday. Yesterday I had a woolly response from the principal. As I had also complained about her I thought the next person up the organisation would respond. Suffice to say, I am escalating the complaint. None of the things I wanted to happen are being addressed or improved.
Read my post coming soon about the farce of an Annual Review held at this same school yesterday. I basically ran the meeting!
Fiasco!!
