So how are we feeling about the easing of restrictions?
We are much happier here now Simba can meet up with friends. He has been going on long bike trips and I trust him to behave sensibly. He is doing a roaring trade with his paper round with lots of tips from grateful customers.
I've met up with friends, one at a time which has been very welcome.
The lockdown has finished off a couple of shops on our high street but most of the cafes are now ooen as take a ways and we are working our way round! We have had fish and chips delivered a few times which has been a great treat.
We are planning a day trip to Liverpool on my birthday in 4 weeks, and we have two separate weeks booked in Wales at the end of July and August which we are still hopeful for.
Simba also has a college transition day in July.
Biggest thing for me is working from home - I really don't like it but I doubt we will be back in the office before September, if not Christmas

So many visitors to our area scarey traffic jams carparking madness, walking with no social distancing.... absolute madness.... locals cannot visit beautyspots or coastal paths as tourism madness is not being policed.?.very frightening...
Camping on local beaches rubbish being left to be washed out in the tide police refusing to police breaches....plastic & detritus in the seas once more?... Not a good time tbh ....
Boys staying local cycling lots around the village.... jot just tractor driving on own land now....Planning a visit to Nannies garden.... dogs have really missed their weekly Sunday lunch visits as much as us, they love to race & play.... we cannot wait....
Virtual school lessons to start 😌 this week daily for baa first then skweek 10th on.... not sure how that will work.?... certainly very trying times.... boys still not convinced that it is bad for everyone they have started believing it is lockdown just for them.?. Fighting a losing battle trying to explain even with TV daily update 😑 ....
Good luck all ...let's hope no spikes & that next month will be even more 'near normal' than this month promises .....
Very Many hugs to all xxxxx
