And now, they sent her back home?
Don't worry I sent my oldest to school with dirty sock and no fruit snack, lol I was told off and when I told them there are more important things in life they threatened with 'action', I told them please do. He's 15, this year 16. The idiots.

Yeah. She's coming home tonight. For the chest infection; they actually treated the head lice there.

Twice in the Christmas holiday I got up so late that I bypassed breakfast and went straight to lunch
Though to be fair, Simba is more then capable of getting himself a bowl of cereal if he is hungry

I sent mine to school with a cracked sternum a few weeks ago - then I was annoyed when I got a text saying he'd been late back from lunch - turned out it was because he struggled to get back to school in time as he couldn't breathe properly - oops!
...and DD2 is usually not in proper uniform (she has only worn black leggings for all but about three days for the entire last two years since DD1 left)

He's always been a pain going to bed. He kept saying "my shoulder hurts" so we said lie on the other side !

my daughter, sandwiched between two brother with serious health problems, used to be a mega hypochondriac. once she complained about ear ache when the two boys were both ill so I said tough, nothing wrong, just jealous they're off school. kept complaining for a few more days. in the end I told her i'd take her to the doctor so HE could tell her there was nothing wrong and then I would be doing.....(a number of threats that I would never have carried out!). gp took one look and said her ear drum was about t perforate. oops. and then I compounded it by telling that that's what happens when you tell so many porkies when you are well that you're not, that no one believes you! poor girl. think the worst I did with AS was to send him to school in pants (with a coat on) in winter, becoz he refused to get dressed one morning! never seen a child get dressed so fast once he got there!

I am not so sure it's bad what you said and did. My youngest is always lying and stealing, so I blame him whenever something is gone including concequences. He would love me to spend hours being confused who did what, well I am not. Very occasional I get it wrong and I too say tof luck, now you see what happens if you can not be trusted. The pants? well it worked, I pressume he was smart enough to push the issue and you warned him before......

lol loadsofbubs. I did something similar with DS. He is such a wimp and complains about everything so I left him complaining about sore ears for the weekend- been to A&E several times with nothing wrong - and dr said he had burst his ear drum. I am afraid I did as you did and said if you didn't complain so much I might have taken you more seriously!
My mum who was a teacher used to tell parents to bring kids who refused to get dressed to school in their pjs and they could get changed at school. It only had to happen once and the children were quick to get dressed at home!
