Starlet and I have both been a bit stressed recently, and tonight we erupted into twenty minutes of unadulterated giggling, by the end laying so hard we couldn't breathe!
it sounds so silly, but she was eating a chocolate biscuit after tea and made so much mess dragging it out by licking and therefore melting the chocolate, I laughed at her and asked how she managed to get it all over. She grabbed hold of my face and rubbed her cheek on mine so I ended up covered in chocolate too. We then spent about ten minutes with her trying to get the chocolate all over me and me "fighting" her off, mostly through tickling. It felt just lovely. Normal. Therapeutic for us both. Mummsy :-)
nothing startling i know, but sometimes it's the little things that make the difference!

My LO has developed eye rolling which apparently I do all the time and had no idea. It always makes us laugh. The best thing though is burping and farting. It really does give us the giggles!

kstar, sounds absolutely what the doctor ordered! How lovely to have that close time in such a delightful mood together. Piglet, that still reduces my two to tears of laughter! They absolutely cannot resist. All time fave presents are whoopee cushions! x

sometimes it is hard to remember to be playful and have a laugh with our children and it can be the simple things in life.
