So finally dd1 has her EHC plan and although school haven't had the final version yet, they have put in the support suggested from the start of this term. Hoping it will be what dd needs, as she is now starting year 10 and her GSCEs. It feels better to know that school will be called to account if things don't work out and won't be able to just get rid of her or let her fail now (concerns that loomed large here all last year).
She has also been allocated funding from the ASF for major therapy. And I think she will be co-operative with that, based on the way she responded to the assessment.
Here's hoping for a good academic year for her!
