I posted earlier and then removed it because I decided I was just being self pitying and pathetic. Suffice it to say that I have just eaten most of kipper's "potty chocolates ". I.e his reward for potting. Well he doesn't need them this week I am going to be a bridesmaid in few months and need to lose a few pounds. Not going very well!! Sorry mods, if this is wrong place. My brain is frogspawn this week. Tomorrow is another day!

Wow, well you guys have certainly made me feel better about my packet of chocolate buttons! Good to know about fellow comfort eaters!!!!!
Mind you if "potty chocolates" were what Shadow thought they were then I would be more likely to lose said few pounds !

I sympathise Last night I ate a whole box of Maltesers. I bought them for the purpose of eating them all in one go and ate them in the car while Dash was at a club for an hour

Oh Larsti, that's not even a contender! lol I have given up buying multipacks as I can't resist them. They just whistle to me on an evening! I have been known to eat my meal, then a yoghurt, then a chocolate bar, then later go back for crisps and on and on . . . I am planning to start a proper diet soon, when I have a regular routine sorted for school etc.

I am enjoying these! Today I can beat ALL of you. DH and I went for posh nosh to celebrate our wedding anniversary today. A big adventure meaning kipper was babysat by Nana and Grandad, which he wasn't best pleased about. It was our second "date" in 2 years! It was fancy schmancy and had 7....yes 7 courses!!!!!! Ok, the first was "cauliflower foam" which hardly counts as comfort eating, (and was slightly revolting) but hey I'm not complaining! Incidentally, the potty training has had such a regression this week due to some high anxiety levels that I seriously thinking of rewarding *myself * with a 'potty chocolate' each time Kipper wets himself, though the number of accidents he's having it's probably not wise.

Happy Anniversary Mr and Mrs Sockthing You really know how to celebrate......you need to find more reasons to celebrate though! Anniversaries only come round, erm, once a year Phoebe I know what that's like....keep going back to the cupboards and if desperate, bread and jam has to suffice. See below for a special announcement

Today I have gone on the wagon...no not alcohol (I am already teetotal)......chocolate! I am giving up chocolate. That won't be so hard but cutting down on sugar consumption will be. You have to start somewhere though. Today when the ice cream van came I only had a cone not a 99 Consumption of wine gums may go up in inverse proportion to (non) consumption of chocolate (not mathematical but I think I've said what I mean!)
