About four months ago I decided to put some shelves up and reorganise stuff
chucked out a rickety small bookcase, took my books off another and put all simbas DVDs, Wii games etc on there. Went to B&Q and bought some shelf boards and brackets, and there they have sat, in the corner, staring at me
yesterday I bought a new saw, today I have cut the boards to size, now I just need to annoy the neighbours by drilling 20 holes in the wall
maybe tomorrow .....

If we're going to be competitive about this my house still has bomb damage that hasnt been sorted properly, but I'm gambling on the assumption that as its survived the last 70 years, another few won't matter

Isn't that what they call 'character' Toko?
I have a kindle JmK, but also need somewhere to put some of my things from my travels
Anyway, drilling is completed, apart from one issue related to dodgy Victorian walls which fell apart when introduced to drill, will need to get creative with some filler

It does feel rewarding once it's done, doesn't it? (oh, well, maybe 'relief' at the least). I used to use DIY as an avoidance strategy to revising: thankfully I wasn't too bad at either x
