Totally true re loo roll although our holder fell off the wall long ago so now it's the case that only mum can put it somewhere where it can be found by the next user i.e. not behind the actual toilet or under the stool Dd2 won't throw out although she has been able to reach the taps for years or in dd1's bedroom as she can't be bothered to look for a tissue.....

Starlet stashes half loo rolls in bizarre places. Even she doesn't know why she does it, but she absolutely loves it if we get to the brink of running out and she can "save" us by producing a crumpled half loo roll from a drawer or under her bed. I can only assume it must be an early childhood thing, possibly from running out of it on a regular basis?
I love how we now all know each other well enough to have a full blown conversation about loo roll lol!

I once made the empty toilet roll into a 'toilet roll fairy' and left a note from the fairy after 'she' had changed the loo roll, but my daughter didn't take the hint :-) I still do it but there are worse things!

At the weekend I was looking for some hair bobbles in Lapwings bedside drawers( I never usually venture I them)there were 15 empty loo rolls squirrelled away.... her answer, they might be useful..!

Dd currently has six egg boxes, when I asked her what they were for she says 'to keep my dead pets in...'
Mmmm maybe won't be getting her any 'live' pets soon!!

I like the one about not looking disinterested during a long and pointless tale...but I think we need to add our own so:
I may not be perfect but I totally rock at multiple teatime variations of mince, ketchup and Heinz vegetable soup.
