Oh great, another collection to add to the gathering mound in Moptop s Harry Potter style bedroom.( It's not under the stairs but over the stairwell and tiny.) Unlike the stones that are mini boulders hand selected from garden and left by previous owners. So today I have the great job of collecting them all and disposing of them. When I tactfully and clearly said the rocks would not be best placed in his bedroom as ammunition to throw at me, Moptop looked angelic...now that's an idea.. I do try really I do.

Yep, stone collection here too....anything slightly different...we have a gravel drive and he has a knack of spotting them from a distance.
Also sticks, very proud of his sticks he is!
Was told this is common in asd.

I am partial to collecting stones from the beach...I am thinking I should remove them from their various bowls and windowsills ..I had not considered they may be ammunition.

Dd2 has a habit of flinging things when angry. She collected some stones and pebbles from the beach and I retrieved them from the car today - when she was happily reunited with them, I reminded her that any suggestion of throwing them meant they'd disappear. Glad I'm not the only one!
Oh and I love pebbles too. I'm not ASD - well maybe only very slightly!!!

Ds2 always brought home giant dead branches to plant in the garden so they could grow.

We have found bits of rusty metal, those square plastic things that have the size on that are on clothes hangers (DS will go to great lengths to steal these in shops) & many many many bits of wiring, circuit boards etc - he takes broken electrical items apart to find 'treasures'. Best find ever was a pair of glasses with no lens, a Honda hub cap & a car registration plate.
We gave in & bought him is own small shed in the garden to keep it all in in the end as it was driving me mad all over the place.

There is also rarely a day that goes by that DS doesn't find money in the street. His keen eye for a treasure has its benefits.
