Please remember those who are devastated by the tragic lose of 6 lives and the serious injury of others, following an accident with a runaway bin lorry in Glasgow today. I am feeling very much in mourning with my home city..struggling with family things these last few days but this reminds me that there are worse off people and situations.

Prayers tonight for all who are weary but cannot sleep. Prayers for those who are ill, that they recover.
And finally, a prayer that our young adults may occasionally behave gracefully under pressure.

I ask you include Tweedledee in prayers tonight ....that she feels peace of the Holy Spirit 8-|enfold her in sleep tonight. She is confused and scared, reactive and sore. Also for all the children here and overseas who don't yet have a safe haven of home to feel safe enough to express their fears and begin to heal. Good night an God bless !

For my mum's best and oldest friend Peg. She has had lung cancer for three years . We were trying to call her this morning to say thank you for the birthday present she sent me, but she had been taken into hospital in the early hours.
From the first time they met, Peg and Simba have had a very special friendship. She was an adoptee, they had an affinity with each other.
She is a very special lady, always put others before herself. Simba was always very impressed that she always got over 200 Christmas cards!
This looks like the end, my mum has gone to the hospital to say her goodbyes.

Prayers for Peg, clearly an amazing lady. Prayers for all adoptees who find themselves in troubling times or ill health. Prayers particularly for Carmen recovering from Leukaemia who has never found her mother. Prayers that she and all others who feel alone will feel their heart touched with love.

Peg passed away this afternoon. She will be missed by many many people. Even though we knew it couldn't be far off, my mum is devastated. Simba is very upset that he didn't get to say goodbye

Prayers tonight for all those starting new enterprises - schools, jobs and homes. And a special prayer for those who are not starting anything new, but are trying their very hardest to support those who are.

Could you please pray for the future of the baby girl I am currently fostering. She was on track for adoption but a very ugly alternative scenario has developed. Prayers for a safe, calm, happy home and a loving family for her please. I don't check in very often and rarely have time to post but I do follow when I have a moment. She came to me as a mother and baby placement which went horribly wrong early on leaving me with a vey premature 11 day old baby which was something of a baptism of fire! She has brought us much joy and will, I hope and pray, be able to bring the same joy to her future adoptive parents.

Your thoughts & your prayers for a family in my community.
Mum has had cancer just after child 1 (aged 6 now) feeling ill and was diagnosed with a brain tumour. However she was 4 months pregnant so held off any treatment.
Baby has been born. Bonniest little thing.
Mum is now starting extraction of brain tumour then chemo
I've no idea how they manage. She's been away from baby 4 weeks & rest are tat home & almost 2 hour round trip .
Thoughts & prayers (if that's your thing) for them
Very humbled as he cheerfully said good morning the other day whilst I grumbled about something very silly

Prayers indeed for cowgirls friends.
Could I also ask for prayers and strength for approved/matched adopters whose hopes have been dealt a real blow

Quick update on my situation - prayers are in the process of being answered so thank you. Two weeks ago SS did something I really didn't think they would have the gumption to do as a result of which things are almost back on track and are likely to move quite fast. So much so that it is likely she will be home by December meaning her adopters will have almost all her firsts including her first Christmas. It makes me quite emotional when I think that there are two people out there who don't even know she exists but who, in a couple of months, are going to be given this amazing gift.x

I feel someone I know needs some help.
Please send prayers for A. She is an amazing woman of 70 and looking after her young grand-daughter whilst caring for her terminally ill daughter at home. She is an ex nurse who is so very capable but I feel her worry at what will happen to her grand daughter. I hope she can come to a good decision to ask for some help... its very hard to see someone struggling...but not be in a position to offer practical help. Prayers however may also find their way to assist.
