Good Luck!
We had "Let it Go" on repeat for 4 hours when we were driving back from Scotland! Also on a recent long haul flight Littlebee was watching Frozen wearing head phones and sang "Let it Go" at the top of her voice. Then 12 month old babybee started "harmonising." It was quite sweet really and they even got a small round of applause!

Better than Peppa pig theme tune every five minutes
And in case any one is interested
There are 208 five minute episodes of Peppa pig and one 10 minute. I've been doing some research, trying to convince Simba that it's aimed at pre school children, not winning the argument

I've never actually seen Peppe Pig apart from the trailer that's in the cinema at the moment. :-D

Esty , remain blissful in your ignorance of the beast that is the pig
I feel this may becoming as big an obsession for me as well as Simba, I fear I have ISSUES

ok ok...my big confession.. my two were obsessed with the pig when they were placed with us...after watching it endlessly for months.....I binned the dvd's I sort of persuaded them to give their pig blankets up.. and have slowly stolen and binned their pig toys.... sometimes they mention it.... I so hate the theme tune...it drives me into trauma...so can only imagine what it does to them...so I am justified... bin the pig. ...
terrible mummy....but I see no value in that wretched pig!

A kindred spirit mudlark
We gave no DvDs or toys. Simba keeps setting series links on the skybox, I then delete them , then we do it again!

Though we do Ice Age I and Shrek I on a loop for Big Fish. However they are both funny the first and 5000 time you have seen them. Nephew 15 and I were considering a PHD in Ice Age after driving to Switzerland and back with Ice Age I on a loop. I can tell how poorly Big Fish is by his level of response to Ice Age. If he is still responding then there is no need to go to hospital :-). Sounds ridiculous but true.

Even my 10yo noticed the Peppa Pig movie was a rip off. 45 mins of old stuff & 15 mins of new episodes. All in 30 ft techno colour glory ! At at least with FroZen more songs and voices. My 4 yo plays it endlessly my 10 yo at that age loveeeeeeeeed High School Musical all 3 of them. "Get your head in the game " Grrrrr I'm singing the HSM songs all over again !! Serrakunda..... Let it go ! ahhhh now I have mix of the 2 songs

I too have never watched Peppa Pig, but yesterday a caught a glimpse of the Gaelic version on BBC. Alba . I quickly decided I will stick to Patraig Post ( Agus cat dubh is geal) thank you very much ! We are fans of Ice Age and Shrek here too. Ds1 is an unashamed Batman fan at 16 , even to a batman dressing gown (xxl size) ds2 at 11 still enjoys Shaun the Sheep each night before tuning into The Simpsons and my favourite film this year was Paddington - I even got the suitcase ! Dh is rather more mature in his tastes having a Giles cartoon annual collection, but he does have a pip and squeak annual ( before my time) One of nice things about having children has been a chance to revisit my inner child and a willingness to shamelessly watch stuff for younger folks is one of the few good traits our kids have picked up from us! And funnily enough I have never had an opportunity to watch Pingu as ds2 is a cbbc fan and hates CBeebies which I would guess is where it is shown. But I have seen one of the books !

Ds1 now tells me his girlfriend wants to see Frozen and he loves her so much he will go with her. Ds2 has said in the past that he considers he ought to go and see Frozen, even though it's girly, as so many of his friends are talking about it that he feels left out of classroom discussion that reference it ! I do wonder if they both actual want to see it for themselves but just don't want to admit to it !!!

Shaun the sheep movie is out in March I think Looks great & I can't wait. With a 10 & 4 year old iit's always on as they both like (who wouldn't). Have you seen Timmy time on cbbies. It's a spin off & very funny too
Whilst helping at pre school I found an old pingu book. His sister has a weeing accident at the shop & her mum smacks her bottom ! Then in another book pingu is smacked as he does something wrong. Books were published in late 1980s ! & of course books were thrown away

Stuck in traffic for five hours with Sound of Music on loop we realised our youngest could sing beautifully. Outcome - she has joined a formal choir and is competing in national competitions . it has improved her confidence and self esteem enormously. she is now moving on from Frozen to listening to the music of Les Miserables and can't understand why she can't watch the DVD!! Just a bit of a big jump lol
