First good thing: it was in school, so they get the joy of clearing it up. Went to get her from the medical room. She wobbled towards me and hugged in, letting me kiss her on the top of her head. Held my hand briefly then, as we went into the corridor where she could be seen, let go but secretly clutched at my sleeve. Little things, but big. Particularly when I remember the little girl who came here 9 years ago and who didn't want anything to do with me. Desperate for a mum, but definitely not a dad...

Oh yes CW, big things indeed! Those "small" things mean SO much in our world don't they?
Pleased for you. Hope she's better soon though.

Well you hung on in there with her Corkwing and she knows she can count on you when she is poorly.
Hug from your little girl, perfect early christmas present

Awh, not that you would wish your child to be poorly, but often that's when they feel vulnerable and able to accept our care. Enjoy, have a snuggle up on the couch and watch a DVD, it's a good day to be sick as it's feezing out there. Only keep a basin close at hand just in case.

Yes, Fairy Basslet is better now, thanks. Kermit was up at A&E with Sprat on Monday, though, after a bit of rough and tumble in the playground left him with a badly gashed knee. And it led to an opportunity for a cuddle with him, too.
