How about Jonnie Peacock? He'd be a great subject for a poster. There's lots of info about and photos of him.

That male Olympic gymnast has an ADHD diagnosis..that's what got his parents to sign him up for gym lessons when he was a kid - he was bouncing off the walls literally!

I thought about Einstein, found some interesting things , he never wore socks ! Problem with most of these people is that the cubs will never have heard of them, there is the presenter on cbbc with one arm and Ade who pops up all over the place, who is a wheelchair user, Didn't know about Justin timberlake so will have a look at him. Jonnie peacock looks interesting, they should be interested in a sportsperson

Talking about Albert Einstein, they also strongly suspect he may have had Aspergers and, believe it or not, failed in Maths at school big time. I would imagine that this would have been down to his teachers not being able to cope with him... and not his "inferior" intelligence.

Going for Maggie Aderin Pocock, Black and female in a white male dominated profession and dyslexic.
None of these names mean anything to Simba but i think he will connect with the space thing.

I stayed to watch Simba do his presentation to the cubs. He ( me!!) was the only one to have done a proper presentation. But we talked about why she was an important person and about hidden disabilities and he understands what dyslexia is. He made the poster and and practiced the presentation. He did it perfectly.
Proud mummy
