As recommended by Pingu
I referred DS1 to Khan Academy website when he was struggling with maths.
There are hundreds of videos on all areas of maths, and a badge system for incentives, and it really helped improve his maths.
He liked that he didn't have to ask the teacher if he didn't understand something, and could watch as many times as he liked, till he understood, without feeling embarrassed.

We home educate and my son loves khan academy. Wolfboy really enjoys Bill Nye the science guy billnye.com/. The videos are really fun and make scientific concepts easy to understand.
