Little man went off to nursery today WITHOUT A SINGLE COMPLAINT!!!!!! As we drove up the drive he shouted "yay!!" He he gave me a beautiful kiss on the lips and ran off to play happilly. all these are firsts!! Weve had 9 months of tears, and shouting, hiding in cupboards, hiding in shrubs, having to physically wrestle him into and out of the car. I came away really happy to leave him there and so much more psychologically able to have my own life while he's gone. It's an amazing feeling and quite a revelation. Feel very proud of him, but proud of myself too for sticking to my guns and not increasing his hours - and now the goalposts have stopped moving he has had a chance to relax and enjoy it. Just got school looming to worry about now! (That's a whole ' nother post!)

YAYY!!
That is fantastic to hear Sockthing. All credit to you for helping Kipper reach this stage, and sticking to your guns about what would help him get there. It makes a massive difference once your child is keen to get to nursery and settled whilst there, hey you might actually be able to relax for a few hours! (ignoring than the 1001 one things there's always to do..)
No doubt there'll be blips but it shows he can now happily go in, such that's a massive step.
