Yes Pingu, I liked this one as it explains it in more layman like terms as some of them can be a bit too high brow for my liking and this one is good to give to family or teachers to read if they are struggling to understand our kids and why they do what they do. I sent it to my ex because, despite being an adopter, he still doesn't "get it" and thinks EDD is completely in charge of what she is doing. DUH! Sadly sometimes it's not just the prof's that need educating.

The bit about how adopted children react when you say no to them sums our YDD perfectly.
This is going to be rammed down the throats of those idiots in our LA who think our daughters problems are our fault.

There are lots of useful links/documents on the Resources Boards rlmjam.
Just have a read through and copy out the ones relevent to your DD, then email, or print them off as a hard copy and give them to the doubting SW's or whoever you are dealing with, ie those who do not know about adoption and how adopted kids operate. It does help to educate them.
You have no guarentee they will take the time to read them, but it will back up what you are saying, and may make a difference.
