Ä° really enjoyed our Christmas...mainly because it was short and sweet One advantage of living in a mainly Ä°slamic community is thers very little Christmas hype so there are very few material pressures - the second advantage is that on 26th December hb went back to work and the girls were back in school. Mind you we are aÅŸÅŸ still reinventing 101 ways to finish all this turkey! Jofran

I took my decorations down yesterday! AS was at a play date so I decided to put the house back to normal while he was not here. He likes the decorations but asked when it was all going to be put away. Now to work on bringing bedtime to a more normal time and slowly start bringing back the rules and boundaries. Started today with a no chocolate before breakfast rule! Only another week before he goes back to school .......

we had a lovely time but we are both knackered. Really dont want to go back to work though, the person who was keeping me sane is going to another job so I will be quite isolated , wish I could give up.
anyway job for this week is to find homes for all the new christmas pressies. Though have just spent an hour with Simba persuading him that he can't keep all his old stuff and he had agreed to part with quite a lot

Oh yes, I am very relieved that Christmas and New Year are over! AD came visiting over Christmas and again at New Year, and I am very tired. As my foster carer friend said, 'Christmas is like running a marathon'. She and I both fancy a real holiday
