Just wondering how you are all doing in these freezing conditions? We have flurries here in Surrey, but it's not enough to call real snow yet although snow is forecast for tonight so no doubt everything will grind to a halt. Must stock up on cat and rabbit food today just in case.

Have had lots of snow here for over 24 hrs that is not melting or going away and I believe we are due a blizzard tonight which is set to hit the whole country.
What facinates me is the junior school behind my house is open and business is carrying on as usual. When my DD's used to go there, it would invariably be closed at the first sign of a snowflake as teachers would not be able to get there, so I am wondering what has changed as this is supposedly the worst and coldest weather in over 20 years, although I suspect if there is heavy snowfall tonight it might be closed tomorrow, being friday, for a snow day?
Felt so sorry for DD's rabbits, I put an electric radiator in our ancient very draughty lean to conservatory where they reside during the winter months. They looked so cosy this morning all snuggled up together.

Meant to add the council have been out regularly gritting the roads so traffic is flowing freely in my area which helps.

Heavy snow at home---Hastings---on Tuesday, with the main road north(Towards M25) blocked in several places Wednesday we set off for a 220mile journey to Stafford, armed with flasks of hot rinks, food supplies and extra warm clothing. All roads totally clear, only problem was frozen windscreen washer Yesterday huge snowfall up here Today very high winds blowing fallen snow into drifts, but do we care? No, thanks to SS disgraceful handling of our current situation we are here with our youngest grandaughter for her 2nd birthday and don't care how long we have to stay However, hope the rest of you are coping OK xxxx

Big Fish still snowed in. A carer managed to get to us on Friday night so I had my first night’s sleep in seven days. Then two carers got to me today so I could get up Horse. Ive also had central heater boiler break, washing machine break, a big meds fiasco with chemist, their fault not mine but it almost took me to the edge. This week Big F was supposed to be away for two nights respite and that didn’t happen. So woe is me. However got up to Horse today so feel much better. And to be honest boys haven’t been a problem it’s just the services around them.

Sounds dire Esty, hope things improve and soon. At least you got some equine therapy in. Snow has all gone in my area, not a flake left in sight and for the first time ever, I had post delivered on a Sunday afternoon. Post office must be trying to catch up with backlog? All I got was 2 bills which could have waited until tomorrow.

We have snow again. The little rescue dogs from Thailand are not too keen on the snow!
