Somehow my holiday is really full but with very little for me to look forward to. My cousin is coming from France tomorrow and taking DD out, but due to a misunderstanding with my supervisor I have to work. Sunday we are going to join hordes of excited preteen girls at a Little Mix concert. I didn't mind Jessie J and I quite liked Katy Perry, but I'm less sure about this one. Then DD's going off to stay with a family friend while I work some more. Then DD's coming back and we have to deal with annual contact. Then I will work some more while she goes to holiday club. Thanks again, LA, for taking my adoption allowance away and forcing me back to work full-time. Sounds like a lovely holiday, if you're 12.

Just a long weekend for us as dd2 and I don't break up for another week. Off to sunnier climes then. But enjoying tbe sun here today even though we're on a mission to get some long standing chores done (in between refereeing teen / tween squabbles).

LM in bed shattered. Had a rough half term, not helped by deciding he only needed to eat a few grapes for lunch. He can choose now it's not up to me apparently! So three hours of tumbling four days a week with just grapes for Lunch has taken its toll :-). Natural consequence. I'd been telling him he's been lucky not to end up in hospital. There's very little of him in the first place. Big F just appreciating being home and doing the horse everyday. Second week we're off to a bunk barn in Wales to celebrate our four years as a family. Going to slate Mine to get our slate piece inscribed for the third year running. Taking Shrimp so playing down the four years when we're there. We're discussing it at home and also the reasons why we're not making a big issue of it when we're away. It was LM's final say whether we took Shrimp or not. Can't wait to go. Will do our usual, get to second lake on Snowdon, slate mine, visit grandad's ashes at view point overlooking sea, have picnic there come rain or shine, then onto Barmouth to the beach and skate park. We do like our traditions. Taking two of the Norwegian crew as well so should be a good week.

Three of us cycled along the prom yesterday in the sunshine followed by a bacon buttie, bliss.
Happy Anniversary to those celebrating.

We have gloriously little in the way of plans... Our last couple of holidays have been so incredibly busy - lovely and full of memory-making but just nonstop. So this time I just want to chill out!
Unfortunately working full time as a single adopter means my house looks like an episode of one of those tv programmes about hoarders so that will be a priority!

Well since Monday I have had to clean up two lots of Babybug's sick! Monday he kissed daddy before going up to bed, daddy was putting him to bed, and was sick over the arm of the sofa, DH and himself!! Whilst DH had a shower and changed his top and jeans I cleaned and changed BB and cleaned the sofa! Then last night (good Friday or not so good) daddy took BB upstairs to bed and just as he turned him around to out him in his cot he did it again! Somehow I ended up changing BB and cleaning him up and also cleaning his floor and toys whilst after changing his top DH just stood and watched!!! Took BB to Jimmy's farm yesterday as thought it would be nice for him to see the new lambs and chicks etc... There was a massive non moving queue for food and we needed to feed BB (should've taken a packed lunch I know) so after less than an hour and without seeing any animals we left so the poor little thing could have something to eat!
BB is having a sleepover at Nannie and grandad's tonight as mummy and daddy are going to a wedding reception. Then tomorrow at nannie's we are doing an Easter egg hunt for BB and having a family tea.
No plans for Monday as yet, maybe just a quiet day but depends what the weather is like.
Happy Easter one and all!
