I rarely read the Good News board and post even more rarely - so often in the last few years have I haven't felt that I've had anything good to post but..........
LO started on a very low dose of Risperidone this week, for anxiety.
I've had 4 good pick-ups from school in a row. We've had 3 good car journeys where LO has sat still in her seat and looked out of the window whilst sitting quietly - am writing this with tears in my eyes as this is such a major step forward. Car journey with just the 2 of us is planned tomorrow - watch this space as I haven't been able to do this for over a year. She came home from school with a Gold Star Award today.
It's not helping everything but it's certainly had a big impact.
More good news......
School have asked for help as they're not coping School have more or less admitted that her Y2 SATS results were fabricated (new Head so not responsible ) School have agreed that LO probably has a learning disability School are making some changes suggested by PASW School are collating evidence to apply for an EHC Plan.

Wow! What turnaround from school
I'm trying to ignore the comment about fabricating SATs, I work very close to the SATs delivery team!

Sounds as though they're working and so pleased you have a new Head. It is usually the Head that provides the attitude for the school in my experience both as teacher and parent.
