Glad you found somewhere to run amuck, Sooz! That's made me ponder.... Often it's not the fact that adults are there that's the constraint, but the KIND of adults that are there, if you get what I mean?
I mean...the fact that snooz was still with you and another adult but was clearly in comfortable relaxed surroundings and company, so he was not constrained or disapproved of and could be himself (as could the other lad) with no snooty disapproving glances. Goes back to larsti's thread a while back about being in public with a child with extra needs.
On a side note: I love the idea, moo! Would be just kippers cup of tea...well, and mine, you'd have to push me out of the tree to make room for the kids!

Hit the nail on the head there Sockthing, or the hit the stick on the tree!
I've been looking at the amount of warning signs or advisory signs or rules up everywhere!!
Mostly just one would do 'please use common sense'. Xx

Some counties have council buses or minibuses, school would know.

We have a relatively local special needs adventure playground.
I didn't find it until the girls were too big to really benefit, - but there are a few around the country.
Great for networking/respite too.
