You look at a gorgeous weekend like this one and think that's perfect for... Not long country walks Not an impromptu drove to the beach Not a boozy BBQ Not reading outside in a tshirt
But
Potty training..., sigh... how things change, still potty 7- floor 0 on day two and things are looking good for having 2 out of three out of nappies...

You're going to spend the next x Weeks doing war dances for successful wees and poos and the next x years talking about wees and poos. Inhibitions and squeamishness out of the window.

Hated potty training! Second time particularly was a nightmare - six months to get him mostly reliably clean and dry. My daughter though was a dream. 5 days was all it took. With the aid of smarties!

Didn't enjoy potty training squirrel, she's got a few sensory issues and we did not have fun... Howler is being a star though, two accidents on day one and potty every time since, no stickers/ chocolate/ iphone clips needed... Just the incentive of being a big girl like her big sister.... And being able to phone daddy at work and tell him what she has just done. It amuses me as daddy is important director in his company and keeps stopping to discuss the contents of howlers potty with her

Not even started that quest with Sqk yet. He is showing no real signs of being aware and know that birth siblings were both late so I shall approach it later in the year.

Boys can take a bit longer Gilreth. Best wait until the summer, if we get one. Although being a boy he will probably want to "water" the plants.

Aye been told boys are later - my real aim is to get him out of nappies by Sept 2015 when he starts in reception. Not worried about school nursery next year - they can cope if they need to
