Just a quick update
After a week at home, our kid is settling well.
Apart from one sad half hour where he talked about his perception of his past , he has settled really well.
Mrs Goat got her ' I love you Mummy' last night. That was lovely for her , and a little milestone for Our Kid feeling he can trust a mummy figure.
He controlling behaviour has eased off, and he is relaxing a bit more.
He often asks to play games where we are each other. ( very useful for getting little clues to how he is feeling)
He called his FC yesterday , which they both loved.
He is now set in a reasonable sleeping routine , about 19.30-06.00.
That's good enough for us.
Most importantly, he is lovely, loving, caring, funny, eager to learn, and a lover of life.
I can't say it hasn't been hard, it has been a long long few weeks, but we are starting to enjoy it more and more.
And...... I have managed to go for a run today, and no gin.
Well, I think it's time to head over to The Adopters board, thanks everyone. X

Yay Goat you are doing so well. He sounds gorgeous. See you over on the Adopters board whenever you get a chance. Thanks for sharing your intro's with us. We loved hearing about them from a Dad's perspective and maybe yours will encourage other Dads to have a go.
