Seeing anyone at all and food shopping. I am on the shielding list, so even just going to the supermarket and see some actual food will be a rare treat.
It's been a rather lonely winter but looking forward to time in the beach.

Seeing rest of my family - Mum, sister and brother's partner all on shielding list - so seen sister once in a year, Mum three times and brother once. Given they all live 10 miles away!!!! And seeing my in-laws who we have also seen once in a year. Seen more of our friend who we are support bubble for - well he has been living with us since 19th Dec so not surprising.
He was coming up to support me with Sqk over Xmas (lives in Newport South Wales as a patent examiner). We picked him up on 19th Dec (drive there and back) - were at Woodall services on M1 as Boris cancelled Christmas and coming into our home city as announcement of Wales lockdown from midnight that day came. He still spent Xmas day with his family in Sheffield (parents drove to get him) & we joined them for dinner and brought him back. Thankfully we had persuaded him to bring work stuff north with him. Plan was Dro was going to drive him back at half term but then I got diagnosed with detached retina at end of January which was operated on on 12th Feb so he is going back next weekend as I am back to work on Monday.
Lockdown other than shrinking our circle and me mainly lecturing from home online hasn't had a huge impact on us. Sqk has been in school throughout term time and at his usual holiday club otherwise (Dro is a key worker as a pharmacist so we got a place all the time). We have both continued in full time employment - with Dro mainly travelling to work until late October when they decided only the pharmacists who were responsible pharmacist during day should be in work - rest should work from home. He was at home 4 days this week and ongoing looks like a 2 day/3 day split most weeks with alternative of which way round. We even managed to get away in our caravan last summer ....
Both and our first jab last weekend - Dro has CP so qualified in group 6 and GP has me registered as a carer as we get high rate care DLA for Sqk (due to his toileting issues) but don't get carer's allowance as I earn too much. We had booked and then Dro got email from work with details for them to all get jab via healthcare exemption. Still went via GP - so now waiting to book second jab.
