OK folks, the last 'upgrade' seems to have finally killed off the AUK forums, many old friends are here, lets not lose this place as well

Totally agree, Serra. Would be good to hear how everyone is doing, even if it's mediocre news.

I am one of the worst offenders, I'm sorry. I regularly read but rarely post and currently only have a phone with which to access boards so that challenges my eyesight and my pudgy fingers.
We are still going, with heavy professional support. We have had some very tough times and life is up and down but we muddle along.
Must try harder to keep in contact!

Yes agree it would be good for these boards to be active again. I am guilty of not posting too though read frequently, so will try to do so more often.

I’ve been away for some years but happily get my support from a private Facebook group.
I was on the AUK boards for 16 years but I couldn’t get on to the newfangled site and they weren’t interested in helping me.

Still here too. Welcome Safia. It would be great if this forum was frequented more. AUK seems to be on its last legs, sadly.

I am still around and lurking about a bit, just realised my strap line at the bottom is a couple of years out of date.
Young ones are still striding out in the world, ups and downs as ever but all still alive and talking with each other! Funny little family that we are!

Hi all, I rarely have anything to add or help but pore over the boards for help, advice and tips I did try to register on AUK but fell asleep in the process. Having nothing to really add I left half way through the registration process. Anyhoo just checking in to say I'm still here albeit as usually a silent partner

Still here too! Almost 7 years in and littlebee is struggling at home and school. Babybee doing well so far now age 5 but starting to see the effects of littlebee’s behaviour on her. Often read but rarely post but think will be needing some advice in the near future.
Lots of love to all x

Hi Everyone,
I haven't been on here or the AUK boards for quite some time. Have tended to look at face book groups but would welcome this board being up and running.
Quick update, our two are now 14 and 16 and have been with us 13 years tomorrow! Neither coping with school. DS(ADHD and lots of sensory problems) has extreme anxiety and a kind of Complex PTSD which I feel is linked to his early life. He hasn't been to school since his 16th B'day on the 5th Oct. last year. DD who has ASD and ADHD struggles to go to school on a daily basis. Her attendance is now down to 38%.
Take care everyone.
