Larsti is short for Elastigirl of course. I was thinking a couple of things...would be nice if I looked like her Yes her bum does look big in her supersuit but even so......
But also, having recently seen the sequel, I was reminded of her powers. How amazing for a Mum to turn herself into a parachute to save her entire family from harm!!
Sometimes it feels like I am being stretched to capacity but I will continue to do all I can for our children, supported by 'Mr Incredible' of course
In truth I am feeling a little low, having gone to sleep at 2am and woken up at 5
I hope today's CAMHS appt results in melatonin...for Dash of course not me

we should all identify our super hero characters
I would have to demand a new type of supersuit though - I don't think the world is ready for me in 'form fitting' garment
Hope you get the melatonin - although I have heard its quite readily available on the internet and know several people who don't bother with the GP anymore

Hi ladies
I thought I replied to you moo but it has disappeared into the ether!!
I offered you my old suit...hope that's ok :-)
Serrakunda, the real me would not look good in a form fitting garment either but given Edna whatsername's veto on capes (see below....I think I have posted this before!), I doubt she will design a super kaftan. We will have to make do

Forgot to say.....medication dose increased and melatonin prescribed....result!
The only thing was after the dr asking lots of questions (its only the second time he has seen Dash) he said that he would write up the subject of our conversation (just him and me, DH couldn't make it) in his letter and he would try to be as gentle as he could (?!) and actually would let us read it before sending to GP.
So I look forward to reading the contents of this letter as we had already overrun I didn't like to ask for clarification.
English was not his first language (he asked me what I meant by 'half sister') and he also didn't seem to have a great understanding of either adoption ('does he know he's adopted?') or home education.
So I don't know...
home education responsible for this child's mental health problems?
Anxious mother? I did give him a tale of woe.
Deluded mother (thinks she a superheroine)

I know melatonin is available in the States over the counter. And I know its a naturally occurring hormone (well I think that's right!) but I wouldn't want to try it without dr's say so.
