Or is there an increased occurrence of December birthdays amongst the adoption population?
Maybe it is just me that finds this pushes an already difficult time of the year over the edge into a manic, hyper, climbing the walls with anxiety/excitement month?
Roll on January!

Hmmm, no just you I think. Don't know a single adopted person born in December.

Got one here but thankfully, quite calm and taking it all in her stride and is looking forward to being the "princess" who gets to sit in the Queen's chair at her upcoming party.
Until I was a school mum though, you don't really fully understand how much goes on at school in the lead-up to Christmas: regularly rehearsing for the nativity, party, Santa's grotto, even squeezing in a sharing/learning morning for parents to go into school (Kitt was sobbing when I had to leave, bless). Hope Kitt is able to handle the Nativity this year: my little lamb looked soooo lost and was very upset last year at both performances but has come on so much; hope/think she'll handle it better next week.
Hope things settle for your LOs soon x
