Just got a nice book on the Amazon Kindle Store reduced to 1.99. It's called Everyday Games for Sensory Processing Disorder, by Barbara Sher.
The first half is a good introduction to SPD, going through what it is, what's happening in the brain, how to spot it, getting help etc.
Then in the second half there are suggestions for games or everyday activities to encourage sensory development, with activities for both seekers and avoiders.
None of it is rocket science but it's also not condescending and is a nice easy read.

Thanks, I have just downloaded it as I am becoming more sure that Little Will has some form of SPD.
