Simba is away with the scouts
on a sponsored stay awake as long as you can, aiming for 24 hours
personally I thought sleep deprivation was considered torture but who am I to say
how long do we think he can last?
They were starting at 7 this morning, Im going for 11.45 pm

I'll go for 3 a.m.
What's the prize? Looking after Simba the morning after?

Seems none of the scout leaders have children or have forgotten what it is like to have sleep deprived children. Perhaps they are just getting their own back for looking after the little darlings once a week!
Hope Simba does well but not too well!!

Odd idea! Perhaps it's reverse psychology - if staying awake is sanctioned by the adults perhaps they're hoping the children will rebel and fall asleep quickly?

Apparently they do it every years, the leaders all work with children so I assume they know what they are letting themselves in for. I can't imagine many of them last the full 24 hours they should all be tucked up in bed snoozing now until lunchtime.
It's one of of their two fundraising events ech year
I'd just be happy to hsnd over the tenner anyway!

Well, surprisingly he just about made it, dropped off at 11.30 for about 40 mins and then kept going to 6 oclock
