I have my duvets inside matching pillowcases. To be honest I do find this sad that I have achieved this level. I was clearing a wardrobe to lift carpets and decided to see if I have any complete sets! I do, though not as many as there should be. I also have a duvet cover I had when I was 22 I'm now 54!

I have my saucepans from university days, and a duvet set in regular use from 25 years ago
I think it just shows that we had quality in the olden days!

Funny you should say that Esty. Yesterday I finished damp proof painting our bedroom and as the colour was left over thus saving oodles of dosh I very logicAlly went to shop and found a new cover and p.cases that matched another and complimented walls too, well at least for their first outing. I hope you find joy in the coupling!

We have finally plastered the one room ( living room as it happens) that never got decorated when we moved here, following some electrical work and removal of panelling. Not colour co ordinated yet, but as the plaster dries it is turning a nice shade of pink that goes quite well with the new settees ( which are a darkish red) !!!!!

Our girls couldn't get it why it mattered whether their bedding sets were matching. when you haven't had sheets why is it important? lesson learnt for me!!!

I remember similar polly - they still struggle with the difference between day and night wear and certainly don't get matching PJs...

Do you have bottom sheets that match inside the pillowcase Esty? ie everything needed for one bed. I tried this system in my quest for order but it didn't last long!
Now I have stopped bothering and put pink sheets on son's beds if that's the first thing to hand. Only the bottom sheet though not flowery duvet cover.
Given up on matching pyjamas too...

Nah, any bottom sheet will do! And matching pyjamas? Boys tend to wear just the bottoms and a t- shirt or LM loves a onsie. I'm in whatever is warm ;-)
