Starlet went to her first sleepover at a friend's house last night... She didn't just cope, she absolutely loved every minute of it and said she didn't miss me at all! When she said that as she was being dropped off, the friend's mum said "charming" but I could have cried with happiness - because that's exactly how it should be isn't it! So proud of how far my little whirlwind has come!

Great news ! Well done. No easy thing sleepovers. My 11 yo can't cope with them.
My little man managed a good friend baby sitting so success here too.

Brilliant! Am jealous actually as my 10 year old can't cope with sleeping away from us and we're currently going though much angst from her re the year 6 trip (a mere 9 months off!)

That's really good news ! our dd at 14 still finds sleepovers tricky. We still try to keep to day time visits and trips.
