local mayday festival, we went to the library and made our contribution to an art project, a version of the mappa mundi for our district, wandered round the market stalls, saw the Morris dancers, lucky dip stall, played a bit of baseball, had a lovely hot dog from the organic shop we go to every week.
Did our stint on the allotment association stall, Simba did some great applied maths adding up the bills and giving out change, indulged in a fair bit of sampling of pickles and chutneys made by an old work colleague who has set up a business, Simba pedal powered a banana milkshake and we we had chocolate and beetroot cake.
for a city we live have a really nice village type community, Simba is so well known now, everyone has a kind word for him, the allotment people love him.
pooped out !

Hey Serrakunda, glad you were blessed for the time you were. 'Slowly slowly catches the monkey!' Or something like- that my gran said.
