Just remember that any wobbly feelings you may have during intros or the first few weeks are not an indication of how things will pan out over the years. It's such a strange and stressful situation for all involved that there's bound to be a few wonky moments or feelings. Don't take any of these to heart -you and your children have a whole lifetime to grow closer, learn more and love more about each other.
Will be looking forward to reading your intros diary. Hope you have some good weather to be able to enjoy outdoor activities.
Look forward to reading about intros Only just read through this thread :-)
Play dough is good if you haven't got any yet. You can make your own but I have never bothered!
Reading stories and 'novelty' type books for the younger one (lift the flap, books with sounds, touchy feely books)
Crayola have some lovely pens and crayons and they do a pack of black glossy paper with special pens which reveal rainbow colours when you draw on the black. Also Magic painting (painting with just water and a brush.....children love it but doesn't take up much time!
