I am away for two nights!!!! Yes two whole nights child free! Big Fish is staying here with his lovely carer who has come all the way down from Scotland to do it and Little Minnow is away on an adventure weekend with his school! It is a whole year since I had a night off, all night. No sounds of or dealing with choking, coughing, vomiting. I am in heaven. I'm staying in friend's posh motorhome up the yard so I am near if neccessary but can still ride. Friend is joining me tomorrow night when, if everything is ok we will go slightly further away to a view point. I know how to live!

What a difference a year makes! Little Minnow just gone off on coach with a friend to sit next to and relaxed and happy. Last year he was really stressed, no one wanted to sit next to him but it was his choice to go. he managed the weekend and had good moments but this year I hope it's all good!

Well apart from the Mothership breaking down with the carer on way to pick up son and other carer which involved me sitting in van waiting for aa patrol and being towed to my local garage, it was a good break if a little short. Woke up to gorgeous sunshine and cyclers in Lycra cycling past the friend's motorhome bedroom windows. LM had a fab weekend and is now sitting in a stupor watching a film and Big Fish has survived an Ice Age marathon. Here's to a much sooner next break!
