My son didn't show any problems about losing at games or losing his bouts at the judo competition he went to. He remembered to stay calm and think when he was fighting as well (he won two out of three fights, usually he is to busy dancing about and chatting!). The best thing was him calmly going over to check on and say sorry to the boy he accidentally knocked in the face playing dodgeball.
He has managed a lot of really good choices in the last few weeks, but I don't want to get to excited and jinx it!
I am very proud of my wolfboy

The lovely thing, also, is that you're noticing! That sounds silly, but I can get so wrapped up sometimes in what Monkey Boy can't cope with, that noticing and celebrating progress takes work.
Well done the Wolf family. Long may the progress last! Revel in every bit of it!

He is making good choices all over the place and even the bad ones he is accepting the consequences for with good grace..... He is actually thinking about the consequences! I am finding it stressful as i don't want to raise my hopes to much! Its rather stunning though!

how fantastic! If only my DS could make good choices and accept consequences for bad ones more often. You'll need to let me know what you are doing!

Sorry Caledonia I have no clue as to why! I am just crossing my fingers and touching wood a lot! He has started to want things for him and to work at stuff (instead of wants being tied to control freakery....). He is even telling me how he feels and managing to avoid meltdowns etc. I think he has just grown up a bit!
