Hey happyone.... Can't imagine why your l/o & you are still being treated like a foster placement.... Tricky one... If you have a jobs worth s/w I guess you know the answer sadly already....
Can you not write one word sentence... Or even the same sentence every week??..... Seems a potty situation to me but then I am not a slippery s/w ( sorry I mean no offence ) if you are still getting f/c allowance then I guess you had better.... July is soooo soon now.... Yay.... Congratulations.... Being the intro diary fan sad that you have done your wondrous story allreadyxxx

With our first adoptee we had no diary or recording, just a few visits from sw, school lac review until adoption order, and sw did occassional progress reports, not us, though we got given copies. Wth our second, he was our foster to adopt child and we were told just to record anything that might be serious or affect placement, we were not expected to keep a diary., (We had a school age child and in th early years he was quite aggressive at times) i doibt that those adopting younger kids have to do anything, though you might want to record some of the joys for your own. We took loads of photos to show off to freinds........ Best Wishes, just enjoy being a mum....

Post matching panel and before ao you should still be treated like parents. We only had to parent ours plus gve sw visits, lac review and a couple of home visits from hv so they could comment on ao application. Could you do bare minimum or see it as a diary present for lo in later life and keep copies for them
