A rather troubled child that I teach who has generally been unco-operative and verging on rude with me for some months now (I ignore most of it and gently correct anything I can't) voluntarily engaged me in a conversation this morning - this is the second time this week. During the last conversation he actually grinned at me!

Feeling worse!! Gone from bad to worse here. Never mind , tomorrow is another day. Never mind. I'm enjoying this thread though. Have tried to think of something to contribute from my day, but genuinely can't think of anything. Serrakunda I love it when I sings me a new song of his. he's so earnest about it. LOBs. , any chance of photos here of your chicks?

Starlet lost a tooth and was so excited about writing a letter to the tooth fairy! She was so keen to go to sleep, meaning early mummy time for me! (Just need to make sure the tooth fairy actually does her job...)

Heard the birds singing their little hearts out. Love the chirp chirp of the sparrows, blackbird & robin & the rest I've no idea which is which
Then watched them queue for the bird bath
Lovely

Stopped for a cup of tea in the sunshine while babybee asleep in buggy at a lovely new tea shop with outdoor seating.
Tea came with complimentary mini brownies and a strawberry and the sun stayed out the whole time!

Is it my imagination or did you watch that last weekend as well tok? Am loving reading everyone's nice moments. Have had a much better day...apart from blubbing on a friend but maybe that was a good thing in the long run. Especially loved your poetic description, moo! I could practically feel the breeze and smell the blossom. Especially for you I am attempting to post a picture of the bottom of our garden which we have deliberately let go wild and planted some wild flowers too, and a pic of Kippers newly set up water habitat

Whizz worked really hard today helping her Baba to make meze's for our restaurant...Later we sat by the sea having dinner. The sea was like glass - so clean and clear. Two gulls were fighting in the air over a small fish and our village soldier cats (they have a goose step walkbless them) came marching over for the leftovers.
Our feet were aching. We have so much left to do before we open tomorrow evening but we all in turn commented that in spite of all our problems we are lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
Come and visit

I managed to calm down an outraged parent who was shouting at me... For something that had nothing to do with me incidentally. She walked in a lion and walked out a pussy cat :-)

It was sunny enough to put the 'frozen castle' (a lot if cereal and Easter egg boxes taped together and painted white by the mini monkeys) in a paddling pool and tip bags and bags if cheap supermarket snow (flour) in... I had two uninterrupted cups of tea a new personal record!

I love the fact that both of their sisters are strong characters, not the usual wishy washy Disney princess types. Also the fact that Elsa is ostracized for being different but then brought back into the fold by the love of her sister.
And I am a massive Idina Menzel fan, so we have the music on loop on the iPad! I genuinely cannot wait for the musical to come out!

for tokoloshe and kstar.... if you need a frozen themed idea to keep the kids out of mischief peg doll with blue felt tip dress/ yellow felt tip hair and biro face, cape is cupcake wrapper help in place with an elastic band and castle is boxes taped together... painted white, covered with glitter and then stickers after it driesd, then put in a paddlingpool filled with flour (snow) coloured ice is water/ food colouring in different containers to give different shapes i like a project that keeps on giving
