Today oldest, who is 14 and has Asperger's and a history of being massively unreliable, managed to go the corner shop at the petrol station on her own to buy some milk for me.
She had two roads to cross & to navigate the petrol forecourt and managed it.
Came back with exactly what I asked for, with the change & without any disasters.
This is a massive step forward for her and I am very proud of her tonight.
I was, of course, watching and waiting in trepidation the whole time & my nails are now a mess but she did it!
